The Montego built in 68, 69, 70 & 71 are unmistakable, big, decadent, a real statement of a car, & largely ignored by the after manufacturers. Until RRS developed a bolt on IFS the only way to upgrade the front suspension was modify the stock or cut up the car and put in a Mustang II style front clip. Now the RRS G7 coil-overs are available you can refresh your Montego front suspension with height adjustable, dial adjustable, custom spring weight, bolt on coil-overs that will deliver negative camber gain.

RRS offer six brake packages for your Montego, RRS also offer Wilwood adaptors, Baer adaptors & Brembo Adaptors.

Unsprung weight, Reaction time

Camber

The RRS system gives an optimum -½° camber to 2 ¼ ° negative camber at maximum compression or more.  The stock suspension gives poor road tyre contact when you need it most in hard turning.
